MARKETING AND SALES COORDINATOR
--REQUIRED: Knowledge normally acquired by completing a four-year college degree program in advertising, marketing, or related field; one to three years of related and progressively more responsible or expansive work experience in sales, advertising, and marketing strategies, including graphic design, Web page maintenance, and use of presentation software; experience in negotiating media buys and coordinating promotions; or an equivalent combination of education and experience; possession of a valid vehicle operator's license.  
--DESIRED: Familiarity with various performing arts disciplines, especially dance, classical music, and jazz; experience collaborating with minority and underserved communities; basic knowledge of research methodologies; self-motivated with ability to work both independently, collaboratively, and exercise good judgment and creativity; ability to multi-task, prioritize work, and meet critical deadlines; actively participates in team discussions; writes clearly and informatively; ability to interact with diverse audiences; knowledge in audience retention and telemarketing techniques.
--SUMMARY: Manages the development and implementation of marketing programs to promote __Center attractions and programs to key markets through advertising, publication and marketing materials, electronic communications, promotions, and more; coordinates show-related promotions with key media outlets, community partners, and campus collaborators; manages outreach initiatives to select underserved communities; assists with trafficking advertising internally and externally in a variety of media outlets and prepares advertising settlements; facilitates customer satisfaction survey program; serves as backup to design staff, including development of promotional materials such as advertisements, brochures, and audiovisual presentations; manages marketing initiatives for a variety of programs, including but not limited to, education programs and fund development.
