As a Resource Coordinator you will serve as an advocate for the ACS, supporting the American Cancer Society's mission and helping the organization better communicate who we are and what we do to the people who need us. You will experience the personal fulfillment gained from being a part of shared mission and from making a difference in the lives you know and those you will never meet. Eligible candidates need qualifications enabling them to fulfill the following key responsibilities:
Serves Commitment to the American Cancer Society mission Adheres to all ACS privacy and confidentiality policies, including HIPAA Manages incoming calls to the Center Establishes ownership of calls for information and services Listens actively to callers' needs with empathy, courtesy and tact Conducts needs assessment Meets all established quality standards Captures complete information in the constituent database Develops and maintains a positive and professional work environment that fosters teamwork and provides for personal and organizational growth for all employees Develops professional relationships with referral sources and volunteers Completes follow up calls/correspondence with constituents Forwards complex needs to appropriate resources Researches options and resources for callers
